In 1886, J. I. Holcomb and J. Fred Hoke met
in Sullivan, Indiana. They acquired a Lafayette, Indiana company,
in 1897, which manufactured fiber brushes for industrial and
domestic use. Thus, the partnership of Holcomb & Hoke
partitions and operable walls
were introduced in 1950 and 1961, respectively, and have been
in continuous production ever since.
The men and women of Holcomb & Hoke maintain
the founding partners spirit of innovation, commitment
to excellence, and responsiveness to customers that have permitted
the company to grow and prosper for a century and more.
